To ensure I have enough stock of each coloured card that I would like to make cards from, I precut and pre-folded my card bases and card mats prior to going away on a craft retreat. This way I don't need to cart around packs of cardstock and worry that it may get bent in transit.
A fellow demonstrator showed me this last time and I thought it was fabulous. So I found a perfectly sized hard box and sat down one night and got together enough supplies to keep me well stocked.
The great thing about this is also doing card mats to fit the front of my card bases. Therefore I always have some card on hand for creating.
(Looks like I need to stock up on some Real Red though before my next trip.)
