Having just attended a 5-day craft retreat with 6 other Stampin' Up! demonstrators we always start the retreat off with a shoebox swap. A great way to get the creative juices flowing and get our minds into the crafting space.
I used the Sweetest Cherries stamp set and coordinating punch as my shoebox swap. I don't think any of the others in attendance have this set so it was a good one to share.
We have rules that is needs to be a quick and easy card to card. Nothing too complicated that is going to scare us away.
I love that by stamping the cherries makes it seem like we are using double-sided paper. The ink colours I used are Real Red, Granny Apple Green and Early Espresso. With a Basic White card background, mounted on Real Red and then a Granny Apple Green card base.
The punch shape behind the greeting is the Lasting Label punch. The greeting has been fussy cut out (one of my favourite ways to relax).
