In The Tropics Pineapple Die

I have had this die set for a long time and have never used the large pineapple before. I saw some gorgeous cards on Pinterest and decided it was time to christen this die and case some of the ideas I found.

For the pineapple base I have used some of the Pattern Party hostess double sided paper. This set is 48 sheets of amazing patterned paper - coloured on one side and black and white on the reverse.

The embossing folder is the retired Coastal Weave embossing folder. An oldie but a goodie.

The bottom card also uses the same die and double sided paper for the pineapple. The background paper is from the also retired Timeless Tropical double sided paper set. I love the colours and think it coordinates really well with the pineapple.

These cards could be used for any occasion and are a good unisex type of card. I think I will definitely have to have more of a play with this embossing older.
