I have just received one of the new stamp sets from the SU mini catalogue called Sweets and Treats. This set appeals to the baking side of me - so many uses for tags to be attached to treats I bake as gifts.
For this card I teamed it up with the
Stitched So Sweetly dies and the hostess double sided paper called Pattern
Party. To colour the images I used the Watercolour Pencils. I haven’t used them
for a while and I had forgotten how effective they are.
It has been a while since I created some
cards but after 6 months recovery, (so far), from a really bad dominant arm
shoulder fracture, dislocation, ligament and nerve damage I finally felt I could achieve at least one card for now. 6 months of recovery down, only 6 more months to go. (If you are going to do yourself an injury you may as well do a good job of it.)
The card stock colours used are Basic White,
Pool Party and Blushing Bride. Teamed up with the stripes from the Pattern
Party dsp it is a great coordinating match.
I have used Wink of Stella for the glimmer finish as well as the Fine Tip Glue to create glossy icing on the cupcakes. I am really happy how bright and light this card has ended up.
