Recently I held a Craft Class and showcased the Shaving Cream Technique for the attendees. Above is a sample of the 3 cards we made.
This technique whilst being a bit messy is also fun to make. Each and every card is unique as the ink in the shaving cream tends to have a mind of it's own.
The 3 colours we used above were Pool Party, Bermuda Bay and Melon Mambo.
Brandy's Cards had a great tutorial for this. I have listed her instructions below.

- Fill your paper plate with shaving cream.
- Use a stick to smooth the shaving cream out a bit. Then add several drops of each of your re-inker colours.
- Mix shaving cream and re-inker in a swirling motion.
- Don't blend it too much - you want contrast.
- Press your card stock into the shaving cream. If using glossy paper make sure you are putting the glossy side down and it is getting completely covered.
- Pull your card stock out of the shaving cream.
- Using the edge of a credit card wipe off the excess shaving cream.
- Let it dry.
- Decorate accordingly.
