I recently attended a Stampin' Up! team night with other demonstrators. We take it in turn each month to present a new technique/style/way to use a stamp set.
One of the cards we made last night was using embossing resist. (Thank you to Janine Rawlins for demonstrating this card). This effect is achieved by embossing the message etc. and then colouring.
I think the message really pops in amongst the bright colours. When you feel the card also the message is raised (embossed).
